Şu an Endüstri 4.0 olarak adlandırdığımız ismiyle 4.
Industry 4.0 features nearly fully automated systems, organized production processes and robots that can respond to needs by communicating with each other.
Industry 4.0 denotes a manufacturing process where production and consumption needs have completely changed and machines communicate with each other and with humans.
Among the most effective advantages of Industry 4.0: increased productivity through efficient resource use, minimised errors in the supply and demand chain, more reliable business processes with precise results, and new value opportunities including innovative services, new forms of employment, and growth for SMEs.
The Smart Factory Concept
A smart factory is a fully automated and intelligent system network where work centres, machinery and logistics chains within a production facility are managed without human intervention. The term first emerged at a workshop of the National Science Organisation in 2006.
In a smart factory, required work is determined by correctly placed sensors that communicate via the internet with distant production components, drawing on big data in cloud systems to control the entire process and carry out maintenance where needed.
Smart factory solutions are aimed at all manufacturing firms seeking competitive advantage. Although realising this vision requires investment, effort and the right strategy, the advantages of a fully automated system will in the long run enable the creation of more sustainable and efficient systems.
